Sanwo-Olu who was the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Campaign Council for the Ondo Governorship Election said Akeredolu’s victory is a validation of the people’s mandate.

“Today’s ruling by the highest court in the land is a validation of the people’s mandate freely given to Arakunrin Akeredolu by the good people of Ondo State

“As the Chairman of the APC National Campaign Council, the election results announced by INEC were evident that Governor Akeredolu was validly elected by Ondo people.

‘‘At this point as democrats, we must submit ourselves to the tenets of democracy, which include post election litigation.

“Today’s judgement has put paid to all insinuations and doubts about the resounding victory of Governor Akeredolu.

Sanwo-Olu therefore call on all lovers of democracy, especially the people of Ondo State to come together for a continuation of good governance and the developmental process of Ondo, that started since the first term of office of the APC led administration in the state.

“On behalf of the people and government of Lagos State, I rejoice with my brother on this great victory.”
