Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, has detailed Chelsea’s plans for the January transfer window.
According to him, three players, namely- Cesare Casadei, Carney Chukwuemeka, and Ben Chilwell could be on their way out of Stamford Bridge.
The Blues will have to make some key decisions regarding their squad as January transfer window approaches.
Romano said that those in charge of business at Stamford Bridge are happy with Chelsea’s overall situation at the moment.
The Blues are not desperate to enter the market in January but could see departures of Cesare Casadei, Carney Chukwuemeka and Ben Chilwell.
He added that Ipswich Town striker, Liam Delap could be moving to Stamford Bridge, being one of the players the Blues are keeping their tabs on.
Maresca is said to be fond of Delap and has publicly praised the Englishman as well.
Maresca has previously managed Delap for a year during his time at the Manchester City U-23 side. They won the PL2 title together.
However, Romano said the Blues are unlikely to sign Liam Delap in January.
They will likely sign him in the summer transfer window depending on his performances in the latter half of the season.
