Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai has vowed that the cabals in the current administration believed to be working against the Presidential ambition of Bola Tinubu, candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, would be defeated during the election.

According to Daily Trust, the governor stated this yesterday in a yet to be fully released interview with BBC Hausa.

The governor, who earlier declared that some elements in the presidency were plotting to sabotage Tinubu’s candidacy, said they were not afraid of the cabals.

“Respecting people is not fear, I swear we don’t fear anyone in this country, so we are not fearful, we are respectful but if you show us you are not an elder, I swear we will fight you,” he vowed.

Governor El-Rufai had sparked a controversy on Wednesday when he declared in an interview that some persons in Aso Rock were working against the former Lagos governor.
