The Ogun State Police Command has launched an urgent search for a 38-year-old female officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), SRC Funmilayo Oluwamayokun Lasisi, and her young daughter, Sewa Lasisi, who were declared missing after leaving their residence in Abeokuta on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Omolola Odutola, the report of their disappearance was lodged at the Kemta Divisional Police Headquarters on Tuesday, November 5, 2025, by a fellow FRSC officer serving in Abeokuta, accompanied by family members of the missing victims.

The report indicated that SRC Lasisi and her daughter left their home at Obasanjo Hilltop Estate, Oke-Mosan, on Sunday morning and have not been seen or heard from since.

Repeated calls to her phone have gone unanswered, raising deep concern among colleagues and relatives.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Ogunlowo, Ph.D., has directed a full-scale investigation to determine their whereabouts and ensure their safe return. He also appealed to members of the public to come forward with any useful information that could aid the search.

Members of the public are urged to contact the nearest police station or call the Command’s emergency lines: 0800 000 9111, 0915 957 8888, or +234 803 860 9898.

The Police assured that all information received will be treated with strict confidentiality.
