The Lagos State Police Command, today September 21,2023 exhumed the body of late music star, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as Mohbad.
Recall that the 27-year-old singer died on September 12 in controversial circumstances and was buried on September 13, in Ikorodu Lagos.
Nigerians demanded that an autopsy be carried out following the startling revelations of him being harassed and assaulted while he was alive.
The spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed that Mohbad’s remains have been exhumed.
“Exhumation completed. Autopsy to commence. #JusticeForMohad #Justice4Mohbad”
The Lagos state police command on Monday, September 19, set up a 13-man committee to carry out a detailed investigation into the circumstances surrounding his demise.
The committee is expected to turn in its report in two weeks.
