Three persons linked to the killing of a naval officer identified as Akingbohunmi in Idoani, Ose Local Government Area of Ondo state have been arrested.
Recall that the hoodlums attacked Akingbohunmi on Monday, June 26, during an argument with a commercial motorcyclist.
The naval officer who sustained life-threatening injuries was rushed to a hospital for treatment, but was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.
Confirming the arrest of suspects linked to the attack, Ondo state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Funmilayo Odunlami said;
“Three of the suspects have been arrested and we are still on the trail of three others involved in the incident. The suspects will be transferred to the state headquarters soon.”
