Reality TV star Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, will face actress Nkechi Blessing in a celebrity boxing bout on October 1, 2026.
The contest tagged “Phyna vs Nkechi” will hold at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos as part of the “Chaos in the Ring” series organised by Balmoral Group Promotions.
Organisers Balmoral Group Promotions and DAZN Boxing announced the bout on Friday, saying the event will be broadcast live on DAZN and SuperSport.
The bout will be the first time female celebrities will headline a fight under the “Chaos in the Ring” franchise.
The contest, powered by Bet9ja, is the latest in the celebrity boxing series which has previously featured entertainers including Portable, Charles Okocha, Speed Darlington and Carter Efe.
Promotional materials released by organisers show both celebrities dressed in boxing gear ahead of the showdown.
Details of undercard bouts and ticketing are yet to be announced.
