President Emmanuel Marcon of France and his wife, Lady Brigitte, welcomed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the state Banquet for the New Global Finance Pact Summit on Thursday, June 22.
According to Tinubu through his official Twitter handle, Macron warmly hosted him at a state banquet.
Tinubu and his team are in France for the New Global Finance Pact Summit to woo foreign investment into Nigeria.
“I had a great time with other Heads of State and important dignitaries at the State Banquet hosted by President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, France, this evening. President Macron and his wife, First Lady Brigitte Macron, were both gracious and warm, making the event an enjoyable experience”, he wrote.
The International GFPS, with the theme, ‘Building a new consensus for a more inclusive international financial system,’ commenced on Thursday and is expected to end on Friday.
