Edo State Governor and Winner of the September 19 Governorship election Godwin Obaseki, his deputy, Philips Shuaibu and their wives on Friday made a courtesy visit on President Muhammadu Buhari and the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential villa ,Abuja.
Sharing pictures in a tweet on his official twitter handle,Obaseki said the visit was in continuation of his thank you tour,as he continued to show appreciation to all Stakeholders who contributed to the success of his re-election.
He wrote” I paid a courtesy visit to @MBuhari to appreciate him for his stance on a fair and peaceful governorship election in Edo State last Saturday. We are grateful for the President’s committment to democratic ideals, which was clearly demonstrated during the election. “

Obaseki had few days back visited Delta, Bayelsa,Rivers,Akwa Ibom and Cross River State Governors as part of his thank you tour to thank them for their support before ,during and after the election.
