Lagos-based TikTok star and livestreamer Hamzat Habeeb, otherwise known as Peller, has been hospitalised after intentionally crashing his car during a live broadcast on the Lekki-Epe Expressway, following a reported dispute with his girlfriend, Javis.
In the videos that surfaced online showed the influencer visibly emotional while driving.
During the livestream, Peller expressed intense fear about being mocked should his relationship with Javis end, raising concern among viewers.
Shortly after the livestream, the TikToker was involved in a road incident along the Lekki–Epe Expressway in Lagos, where his vehicle sustained damage after veering off the road.
Reports indicated that the 20-year-old has since been hospitalised and is receiving medical attention. However, details regarding the extent of his injuries have not been officially confirmed.
The incident follows months of public tension between Peller and Javis. Earlier this year, Peller accused Javis of money laundering, an allegation her management strongly denied.
The accusation led to threats of legal action, with Javis’s team demanding a public retraction and apology.
Peller and Javis’s relationship has been marked by repeated public disagreements, allegations, and reconciliations, much of which has played out on social media.
