Popular Nigerian content creators Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, known as Jarvis, have officially tied the knot in a civil ceremony.
The ceremony was held on Wednesday, July 29, ahead of their much-anticipated white wedding scheduled for August 1.
The couple confirmed the development through photos and videos shared on social media.
Announcing the milestone on his Instagram page, Peller wrote:
“Congratulations to us. The first chapter of our forever starts here. Court wedding done, forever to go.”
The court wedding comes just days after the pair unveiled their pre-wedding photographs and countdown to their white wedding, which has generated excitement among fans and followers across social media.
Earlier this month, Peller completed the traditional marriage rites in Benin City, Edo State, where he met Jarvis’ family and fulfilled the customary requirements, including the payment of her bride price.
The couple’s relationship has remained one of the most talked-about among Nigeria’s social media personalities, with their engagement, traditional wedding and wedding preparations attracting widespread attention online.
Peller rose to prominence through his engaging TikTok livestreams and comedy content, while Jarvis built a loyal following with her AI-inspired content before expanding into lifestyle and entertainment.
Their white wedding is expected to take place on Saturday, August 1, with celebrities, fellow content creators, family members and fans expected to grace the occasion.
