The Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party 2021 National Convention Organising Committee and the Governor of Adamawa State , Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has reaffirmed that October 30th date for Convention hasn’t changed.
Addressing Chairmen, Deputies and Secretaries of the sub committees on Saturday in Abuja, Governor Fintiri appealed for synergy between the various committees towards organising a smooth process.
He said the work is enormous and needed to put members up to speed to ensure an acceptable and credible convention.
Governor Fintiri put the Committee leaders on notice that sale of forms will commence from Monday, while screening will end by next week.
The Convention Organising Chairman informed the meeting that accreditation will be done at the old parade ground before conveying delegates to the Eagle Square Convention ground for the process proper.
Governor Fintiri noted that it is race against time and urged all committees to work within the time frame.
The Deputy Chairman of the Organising Committee Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa and the Secretary, Governor Seyi Makinde were in attendance at the Wadata Plaza PDP secretariat.
