As the All Progressives Congress, APC continues its membership e-registration exercise in Ondo state, the PBAT Continuity Project, PCP has urged members of the ruling party across the state to participate actively in the exercise, describing it as major step towards getting ready for the 2027 general election.

In a statement in Akure, the Director-General of PCP, Pastor Femi Agagu, noted that the membership e-registration would not doubt produce a reliable, credible and error-free membership register, useful for effective planning, coordination and decision-making at all levels of the party, especially as the nation moves towards another general election.

He said in view of this, every member of the APC needs to come out and revalidate their membership while intending residents should also seize the opportunity of the ongoing e-registration to join the APC fold in the state.

Agagu said “This e-registration is one exercise we cannot joke with as it will strengthen our party’s structures and ensure proper documentation of members especially at the grassroots, so, i implore you all to be part of it and also encourage intending members to register and join the APC family” Agagu said.

The PBAT Director-General noted that the APC needed an accurate and reliable membership register to hold credible congresses, transparent primaries, and legitimate leadership selection, noting that poor participation in the exercise could undermine internal cohesion.

He charged all PCP members, particularly ward coordinators across the 18 local government areas of the state to mobilise members at the grassroots for the e-registration.

In the same vein, the PCP Director-General has urged residents of Ondo state who recently turned 18 and those who are yet to register in the ongoing INEC Continous Voter Registration exercise to do so for them to have their Permanent Voter Card, (PVC).

Agagu emphasized the importance of obtaining a Permanent Voter Card as it is essential for citizens to exercise their civic rights and participate meaningfully in the democratic process.

According to Agagu “Voter registration is not just a constitutional right; it is a civic responsibility. I therefore implore all eligible residents of Ondo State who are yet to register to seize the opportunity provided by the ongoing registration exercise currently at INEC local government offices and be empowered to participate actively in the 2027 general elections and subsequent ones.”

The PBAT Continuity Project restated commitment to galvanising massive support for the reelection of President Bola Tinubu come 2027.
