In continuation of its support for the success of President Bola Tinubu’s administration and for a landslide victory in 2027, the PBAT Continuity Project PCP has held a special jumat service at the Akure Central Mosque, along Adesida road, in the Ondo state capital.

The group had on Thursday organised a special prayer session in the Christian way during its Women engagement/sensitisation programme at the PCP office in Akure.

At a Jumat service in Akure, the Chief Imam of Akure kingdom, Sheik Abdulhakeem Yayi Akorede urged all groups supporting President Tinubu for a second term to be united and shun any kind of animosity saying they were all working to achieve a common goal.

Sheik Yayi Akorede applauded the President for many completed and ongoing projects which include massive road construction, rural electrification initiatives and the revival of the economy, expressing the hope that the People of Ondo state would reciprocate the president’s good gestures with massive votes.

The cleric acknowledged the support of the interior Minister, Hon Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, BTO towards the reelection of President Tinubu and for his generosity to the Muslim community in Ondo state especially during the last Eid-el-kabir, asking the Almighty Allah to continue to elevate him.

Speaking on the legacies of past Ondo state governors, Sheik Yayi Akorede recalled the contributions of the late Governor Olusegun Agagu, describing him as an instrument used by Allah to complete the central mosque, with his brother and PCP Director-General, Pastor Femi Agagu playing a pivotal role as the Chief of Staff at that time

On insecurity, the Chief Imam urged all Nigerians to collaborate with government to rid the nation of terrorism and other crimes and reaffirmed his personal devotion, as well as that of the religious community, to praying for Nigeria, her leaders, and all law abiding citizens.

In his remarks, the Director-General of the PBAT Continuity Project in Ondo State, Pastor Femi Agagu, who led some members of the PCP to the Jumat service appreciated the Chief Imam and the Muslim community for receiving them warmly and for their fervent prayers for President Tinubu and his administration, saying their supplications shall avail for the nation.

Agagu noted that the PBAT Continuity Project is totally commited to Tinubu’s reelection going by his tremendous transformation projects and for being benevolent to Ondo state with the appointment of three key ministers from the sunshine state.

He urged the cleric not to relent in praying for Nigeria and Ondo state in particular.

The jumat service concluded with prayers for Nigeria, the President, his cabinet, and for Tinubu’s victory in the 2027 elections as led by a team of Islamic clerics.
