The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps Oyo State Command, Corps Commander Uche W. Chukwurah has commended the Hospital for its prompt response to accident victims in the state.
She stated this while receiving a Hematocrit Centrifuge that was presented to the command today by the Chief Medical Director Prof. Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo as part of the hospital’s Corporate Social Responsibility.
Chukwurah while receiving the equipment said “We appreciate the fact that whenever we bring in our road traffic accident victims, UCH responds to them promptly, this has saved many lives and I can only say we are partners in progress”
“This centrifuge will greatly enhance our laboratory’s efficiency, saying “this is the only equipment left for the laboratory to function optimally”
“Let me also state that we were able to get all our laboratory equipment from well-meaning Nigerians and institutions. So we are indeed grateful to the UCH management.”
The Hospital’s Chief Medical Director Prof. Jesse Otegbayo responded, saying “Despite the paucity of funds, the Hospital management deemed it fit to present a centrifuge to the command to aid its laboratory which I was privileged to commission last year”
He further reaffirmed the hospital’s commitment to saving lives, saying the comfort of patients is at the core of his mantra.
