TCAN Chairman, Mr Tola Adenubi, said the summit would provide a platform for government, regulators, operators, development partners, academics and other stakeholders to chart practical solutions to challenges facing the nation’s transport and logistics sector.

He said discussions would focus on multimodal transport integration, cargo and passenger movement, infrastructure financing, public private partnerships, digital transformation and policy reforms needed to improve efficiency and competitiveness. Shipping& Logistics

According to Adenubi, Oyetola will deliver the keynote address on the Federal Government’s logistics agenda, infrastructure investments and reforms to strengthen intermodal connectivity and improve the nation’s logistics chain.

Obayendo is expected to highlight transportation and logistics reforms under the Renewed Hope Agenda, while Opeifa will speak on railway modernisation, rail safety, operational improvements, and passenger and freight services. Politics

“We are delighted that the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Dr Adegboyega Oyetola, the Technical Adviser to the Vice President on Transportation, Logistics and Innovation, Dr Segun Obayendo, and the Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation, Dr Kayode Opeifa, have accepted our invitation.

He added that the summit would also feature presentations by government agencies and industry leaders, while outstanding contributors to Nigeria’s transport sector would be honoured through TCAN’s Champion of Transport Industry Development compendium.
