Governor Oyebanji described the late SSG as a selfless servant of the people, a grassroots politician, an administrator par excellence and a dependable ally of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in quality service delivery to the people of Ondo State.

He noted that the late Ondo SSG’s unwavering commitment to administrative coordination, policy advisory, and implementation would remain indelible on the minds and in the memory of the people of the Sunshine State.

Governor Oyebanji said the late Hon. Oluwatuyi made his mark in the sands of time with his previous records of service as a Local Government Chairman, Commissioner and twice as SSG with great impact that is still being talked about.

The Governor recalled his working relationship with late Oluwatuyi when he was serving as SSG in Ekiti State and the deceased was SSG under the Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu administration, stating that the deceased was a man of immense capacity.

Governor Oyebanji prayed God to grant the immediate family of the deceased, Governor Aiyedatiwa and colleagues of the deceased in the cabinet, political associates and other well wishers the fortitude to bear the great loss.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the deceased, the government and good people of Ondo State during this period of grief.

“We urge the children and family of the deceased to take solace in the legacies left behind by the late Hon. Oluwatuyi, even as we pray for the repose of his soul”, the statement added.
