Former Governor of Borno state, Kashim Shettima who is backing former Governor of Lagos state, Bola Tinubu to be President, has shared his thoughts about Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
In a Friday interview on Channels TV, Senator Shettima noted that Mr Osinbajo’s ‘delightful’ character will not earn him the country’s top job in 2023 if he secures the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential ticket.
Shettima who claimed the Vice President is his friend described him as a nice man, and according to him nice people do not make good leaders because they tend to be nasty.
“Osinbajo is a good man. He is a nice man. But nice men do not make good leaders. Because nice men tend to be nasty. Nice men should be selling popcorn, ice cream,” he said.
He added that nice men should be “selling popcorn and ice cream”.
