Nigerian gospel musician, Tope Ajogbajesu of the Ajogbajesu Twins music group is dead.
The second member of the group, Jide, shared the sad news of his demise on their official page on Facebook.
According to Jide’s post, the singer passed away on Friday, July 30. His caption read:”With a painful regret that I am informing you that we lost our beloved one, Tope Ajogbajesu.”
Although Jide did not disclose the cause of death but social media reports said he died of stomach ulcer.
According to a close associate, Tope had been sick and bedridden for sometime before he finally passed.
Tope is one of the Ajogbajesu Twin that came into limelight years ago being on the record label of Gbenga Adewusi.
The duo were well known for their tungba style of gospel music.
However, they had been off the music scene for a while, ostensibly owing to the ill health of Tope.
