The Edo State Police Command said one more victim from the Igueben train station abduction has been rescued.
The police made this known on Tuesday, hours after it said six of the abductees were rescued about 48 hours after the attack on Saturday.
The Edo state Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, Chris Nehikhare in a statement on Tuesday also confirmed that six abductees have been rescued.
According to him, the rescued persons include a 65-year-old man, a nursing mother and her baby, a six-year-old girl and her two siblings, aged two and five.
He commended the rescue team in the bush and their support staff that were working tirelessly to ensure the victims were rescued and reunited with their families.
Over 30 intending passengers were kidnapped on Saturday afternoon when gunmen attacked a train station in Igueben in Edo.
