The Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) in Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi has picked Festus Akingbaso as his running mate ahead of the November guber election in the state.
Akingbaso who hails from Idanre is currently representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency in the house of representatives.
This was confirmed in a statement by the Ondo State, PDP Publicity Secretary, Ikandu Peretei on Sunday.
Akingbaso popularly known as ‘Fessywest’ was a former member of the Ondo State House of Assembly.
With the announcement, his name will be used to replace Samuel Ogunmusi whose name was earlier submitted to INEC as a placeholder.
