Ondo: PBAT Continuity Project welcomes Akingbaso, Ademujimi, others to APC

The President Bola Tinubu, PBAT Continuity Project, PCP has welcomed into the APC fold prominent PDP stalwarts who decamped to the ruling party from Idanre and Ifedore Local Government areas of Ondo state on Thursday.

The PDP stalwarts are, the party’s Deputy-Governorship candidate in the 2024 Ondo Guber poll and member, representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal constituency, Hon. Festus Akingbaso, Chief of Staff to Former governor Mimiko, Chief Kola Ademujimi, Dr. Lawrence Ibukun, Former Idanre council boss, Taye Sunday, Wole Akingbaso, Adeola Ogunmakin and a host of others.

In a statement by the Director-General of PBAT Continuity Project, PCP, Pastor Femi Agagu, the group, championing the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu expressed delight with their choice of APC, a party that has impacted positively on the nation and Ondo state tremendously especially under the President Tinubu’s administration and Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

“You have made the right choice by considering APC as the party you’re pitching your political tent with, having studied its track records since it took over reins of power in Nigeria and I have no doubt that you have a lot to benefit from the party even as i encourage you to team up with it to achieve your goals and also make life more bearable for Nigerians.”

Agagu who described the former PDP chieftains as experienced politicians urged them to add great value to the APC and key into its various development agenda, aimed at transforming the lives of all Nigerians and enhance the nation’s democratic gains.

He also enjoined them and their loyalists to use their wealth of experience to work towards the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027 in line with the goal of the PBAT Continuity Project in Ondo state.

“As the nation moves towards the 2027 general election, the PBAT Continuity Project, a politic is determined to work with other structures within the APC to garner 90% votes for the re-election of President Tinubu through grassroots mobilisation and by amplifying his achievements in simple terms to Ondo State residents. It is our hope and believe that you will also join the train, along with your numerous loyalists to give a landslide and resounding victory to our dear President in 2027 for more dividends of democracy in our dear sunshine state and across Nigeria.” Agagu said
