Ondo State Government has taken delivery of doses of the AstraZeneca COVID19 Vaccines
The vaccine was delivered Tuesday evening through Akure Airport and received by officials of the Ondo state Primary Health Care Development Agency on behalf of the state government.

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,SAN is expected to flag-off the vaccination today in Akure, the state capial.
Similarly, Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State and Chairman of the Taskforce on COVID 19, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe says Government will ensure adequate supply of the Oxford Aztrazenica vaccines across Local Councils of the State for onward vaccination.

He stated this when he inspected the the COVID 19 vaccines at the Central Store in Lafia.
Dr. Akabe who maintained that he was at the Lafia Central Store to assess the condition of the cold room so as to ensure it is save for the storage of the vaccines noted that Governor Abdullahi Sule expressed delight with the cheering news of the arrival of sixty- one thousand doses of the vaccines in the state.
The vaccinations is expected to be carried out in line with the scheduled guidelines laid down by the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA).
Nigeria took delivery of about four million doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines as part of an overall 16 million doses planned to be delivered to the country in batches over the next few months.
