The paramount ruler of Idanre kingdom and one of the first class traditional rulers in Ondo State, Oba (Dr) Frederick Adegunle Aroloye, Arubiefin IV, (JP) has commended Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu for what he described as his excellent and exceptional performances during his first term in office.
The foremost traditional ruler who had been on throne for close to five decades made this known recently in a chat with PRESENT NIGERIA in his Odode Idanre palace.
He specifically mentioned the Governor’s actions on the herders as highly commendable and showed him as a great statesman who cherishes the lives of his people more than any other political expediences or considerations.
Oba Aroloye called for urgent rapport between all the various stakeholders on the issue so that the herders don’t continue to use their cattle to destroy the crops of our people who are mostly farmers.
The royal father who noted that Arakunrin Akeredolu had equally treated the traditional institutions in the state very well and with befitting respect however called on the Governor to repair Idanre / Owena road and also help reconstruct the Odoko / Fagbo road. Oba Aroloye also pleaded with the Governor to facilitate the Idanre / Ofosu road as well as put more efforts in developing the Oke Idanre Hilltop Tourist Centre as it is a great sight to behold.
He called on all Ondo State indigenes to cooperate and support him in his second term in office.
