Unknown gunmen have abducted the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Ose Local Government Area of the state, Nelson Adepoyigi.
Adepoyigi, who is the chairman of APC in Ifon Ward 5, was reportedly abducted along the Benin-Ifon-Owo expressway on Monday evening.
At the time of filing this report on Tuesday, the details of how the incident occurred were still sketchy.
Confirming the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Olayinka Ayanlade, said the politician was kidnapped at the entrance of his farm.
