Anambra State Governor,Willie Obiano has condemned attack on Police B Division and INEC Headquarters in Awka.

The Governor who spoke when he made an on the spot assessment of the two offices said the minor damages caused by the attack are regrettable ’’but I’m consoled by the bravely of our security personnel.”

” Saddened by the attack on Police B Division and INEC Headquarters in Awka, I quickly paid an unscheduled visit to the two scenes for an on-the-spot assessment.

“Their gallantry repelled the attackers, ensured no sensitive material was touched at the INEC Office and most importantly, no personnel’s life was lost.

“My administration will continue to provide all the support needed by the security agencies to destroy all hoodlums and continue to keep our Anambra safe.”
