Edo State Governor,Godwin Obaseki has congratulated the Oba of Benin and the Royal palace on the birth of the new princess.
The Governor in a congratulatory on facebook prayed that the birth of the princess ushered in new dawn in Benin Kingdom.
He wrote;
“I heartily congratulate the Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, the Oba of Benin and the Royal Palace of Benin Kingdom on the birth of a new princess.

“It is even more remarkable that she was born on the birthday and coronation anniversary of our revered monarch, the Oba of Benin.
“I pray that the birth of the princess ushers in a new dawn of growth, prosperity and progress in the kingdom. I also pray that the new princess grows in wisdom, knowledge, understanding and good health,”Obaseki prayed.
