As Intensive Training for Women Rapid Response Squad of NSCDC ends in Katsina, the Minister for Interior, Ra’uf Aregbesola has directed all Agencies under the Ministry to establish Female Squad at their respective Organizations.
Aregbesola gave the Directive at the closing ceremony of an Intensive Training for Women Rapid Response Squad of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp NSCDC.
According to the Minister the establishment of the female squad by the paramilitary Agencies will greatly assisted in tackling the security challenges facing the Country.
Aregbesola who welcomed the establishment of the women squad by the NSCDC assured that the Federal Government is determined to support all the Agencies under the Ministry to form similar squads.
While calling on the trainees to work tirelessly in the discharge of their duties the interior Minister appealed for more provision of credible intelligence to the security operatives to enable them address the security challenges facing in the country.
In his remark, Governor Aminu Bello Masari who was represented by the Secretary to the Government of Katsina State Alhaji Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa expressed optimism that the establishment of the women squad will greatly assisted in converting the rate of kidnapping more especially at Schools.
