Nollywood actress Mimi Orjiekwe has reportedly been apprehended and detained by the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) of the Nigeria Police at Ikoyi, Lagos.
Reports have surfaced claiming that the actress is being investigated for her involvement in a fraud case amounting to a staggering sum of N700 million naira.
The arrest came after a prominent billionaire businessman, Mr. Micheal Diongoli, filed a petition with the Ikoyi law enforcement police department, urging them to locate and apprehend Orjiekwe.
The petition alleged that the actress had failed to fulfill her contractual obligations regarding an interior decoration project that Diongoli had assigned to her

The screen diva according to an investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, was on the run after she failed to deliver an interior decoration items contract that was given to her by the billionaire businessman.
