A member of the House of Representatives representing Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency of Oyo state, Hon Olatoye had reportedly died in the University college Hospital, UCH, Ibadan.
Olatoye was said to have been earlier rushed to the Intensive Care Unit of UCH following a gunshot injury he sustained in the eye by unknown gunmen at Ibadan.
Confirming the incident, his younger brother, Oladotun disclosed that the politician popularly known as Sugar was truly shot and was rushed to an undisclosed hospital.
His death report was confirmed by the Public Relations Unit of the UCH, Ibadan.
