Suspected Bandits have abducted the Head of the Medical Services, General Hospital, New Bussa in Borgu Local Government Area (LGA) of Niger State, Dr. Tony Eghagagara.
The Niger Police Command confirmed the abduction through its Spokesman, SP Wasiu Abiodun in a statement in Minna, on Friday.
Abiodun stated that Eghagagara was kidnapped at about 9:30pm on Wednesday by suspected bandits in his private hospital in Wawa, also in Borgu LGA.
He stated that a police tactical team had been mobilised for the rescue operation. He promised that further developments would be communicated to the public in due course.
