The National Drug Law Enforcement (NDLEA), in Plateau State has apprehended about 164 persons suspected to be dealers on illicit drugs.
The Agency also seized over 400 kilogrammes of Indian hemp, diazepam, codeine and other illegal drugs.
The Assistant Commander, Muhammad Abba revealed this in Jos while speaking with newsmen.
He explained that,
“The NDLEA also seized 417.136kg of forbidden drugs from the drug traffickers in the State.”
He said that 414kg of Indian hemp, 1.061kg of tramadol, 2.625kg of diazepam, 32.5kg of flunitrazepam, 6.6g of rohypnol and 4.6g of codeine were seized from the dealers by the operatives of NDLEA.
He further explained that the agency had already commenced investigation of the suspects, assuring that they would be arraigned in court
