The Nigeria Customs Service has announced the schedule for physical screening and documentation exercise for successful candidates enlisted into the Service.
In a statement signed by the National Public Relations Officer, Deputy Comptroller Abdullahi Maiwada, the NCS said the exercise will take place at the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College, NCCSC, Gwagwalada, Abuja.
According to the statement, shortlisted candidates are required to appear with the original and photocopies of their National Identification Number, original Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age, and educational certificates including O’Level, ND, HND, Degree or other applicable qualifications.
Candidates must also present a Certificate of State of Origin, two recent passport photographs, a completed Guarantor’s Form, and NYSC Certificate where applicable. They are expected to wear a white T-shirt, shorts, and canvas shoes for the exercise.
The Service stated that candidates must report only on the date allocated to their respective states and cadres, adding that attendance is compulsory and failure to appear may lead to disqualification.
Upon successful completion, candidates will receive further instructions regarding subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
The NCS, under the leadership of Comptroller-General Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, assured the public of a transparent, fair and merit-based recruitment process and urged candidates to rely only on official NCS communication channels for authentic information.
The exercise begins *September 1, 2026.
