The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC has again confirmed 121 new cases of COVID19 on Tuesday .
The health agency however reported seven COVID19 deaths taking the death toll to 2,056, the deaths include a backlog of data from FCT.
According to the agency, a total of 162,762 cases have been confirmed in Nigeria since the outbreak out of which 151,532 have recovered and discharged leaving 11,230 active cases across the country.
The 121 new infections were confirmed in 14 states ,which are: Lagos-40, FCT-15, Katsina-12, Kaduna-11, Imo-8, Kebbi-8
Nasarawa-8, Delta-7, Edo-3, Osun-3, Rivers-3, Ekiti-1, Jigawa-1 and Kano-1.
Tuesday’s discharges include 977 community recoveries in FCT and 57 in Imo State managed in line with guidelines.
