The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has imposed a N6 million sanction on Saudi Airlines over violations of consumer protection regulations.
In a post on X on Friday, Michael Achimugu, the director of public affairs and consumer protection at the NCAA, said the penalty was imposed after the airline failed to resolve several pending issues and comply with the authority’s determinations despite being given additional time to do so.
“The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority has sanctioned Saudi Airlines to the tune of six million naira for consumer protection-related infractions,” the post reads.
