The Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has submitted a petition against Senate President Godswill Akpabio, alleging sexual harassment.
The Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, on Tuesday tendered a sexual harassment petition against President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio.
The petition was submitted on the floor of the upper legislative chamber after the Senate resumed plenary.
The Senate had earlier said it was not investigating the allegations because there was no formal petition against Akpabio on the floor of the red chamber.
Natasha was sighted at the Assembly complex with her husband on Tuesday morning.
This is coming amid protests in Abuja, calling for the resignation of the Senate President.
