Balarabe Abdullahi while congratulating the nominees for their appointments, urged them to justify the confidence reposed on them by discharging their duties without fear or favour.

“Last week, we have received a letter from His Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule nominating Alhaji Mohammed Musa Dan’azimi as Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB) and three other permanent members for screening.

“The 3 other members of the board nominated by the Governor are Sameel Bariki as Permanent member 1 from Akwanga LGA, Musa Sule Usman, Permanent member 2, from Lafia LGA and Joseph Kaura, Permanent member 3, from Karu LGA of the state respectively.

“And today we have screened and confirmed the nominees as sent to the House to serve as Chairman and permanent members of the board,” he said.

He appreciated members of the House for their time, commitment, cooperation and understanding for the successful screening and confirmation of the nominees.

” And I urge you to continue in that direction for the overall development of our state and the country at large,” the Speaker, added.

The speaker has directed the Clerk of the House to communicate the confirmation of the nominees to Governor Abdullahi Sule.

“He is doing well and if given another opportunity as SUBEB chairman, he will take the education sector to the greater height,” he said.

Hon Daniel Ogazi, the Chairman, House Committee on Education said that the SUBEB chairman is committed to the development of the education sector in the state while calling on his colleagues to confirm Dan’azimi in the interest of the education sector and the state at large.
