The Federal High Court in Lagos has sentenced controversial cross-dresser and social media celebrity Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, to six months imprisonment.
Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos gave the judgment on Friday morning, April 12.
The judge brought down the hammer after Bobrisky had pleaded guilty to a four-count charge of Naira abuse brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Bobrisky was arraigned after he sprayed money at the premiere of Ajakaju, a keenly awaited film by actress and producer Eniola Ajao, at Film One Circle Mall, in the upmarket Lagos district of Lekki last month.
