The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC has received a consignment of unwholesome and unregistered products from the Nigeria Customs Service, FOU Zone B, Kaduna.
The Products valued at over N11millon naira were handed over to the NAFDAC Kaduna State Office and received by the State Coordinator, Mr. Nasiru Mato.
The seized products include expired food items such as pineapple juice, milk powder, yoghurt, chocolates, and biscuits, as well as unregistered and regulated pharmaceutical products.

These include Felxicam tablets, Socomol paracetamol, banned Analgin injection, and improperly imported Procain Penicillin, among others.
NAFDAC reaffirms its commitment to working closely with relevant agencies to prevent the circulation of unsafe and non-compliant products.
The Agency emphasises that such enforcement actions are critical to protecting consumers and ensuring that only safe, quality, and properly regulated products are available in Nigeria.
