Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has approved the disengagement of five members of the state executive council.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government Samuel Jatau, on Wednesday.
The affected council members are the commissioners of ministries of commerce and industry, Sule Musa; Science and Technology, Associate Professor Obed Goselle; Youth and Sport Development, Noel Nkup; Budget and Economic Planning, Chrysantus Dawan and that of Tourism, Culture and Hospitality, Jamila Tukur.
The governor also approved five commissioner nominees to serve in their stead.
They are Sunday Alex from Bassa Local Government Area; Joyce Ramnap, Langtang South; Sylvanus Dongtoe, Shendam; Nicholas Bamlong, Quanpan and Cornelius Doeyok also from Quanpan LGA.
The governor expressed his appreciation and best wishes to those who served as executive council members in their future endeavor.
