Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni has suspended the Chairman of Machina local government, Idrissa Bukar-Machina for acts of misconduct and insubordination.
Bukar- Machine’s suspension is coming four weeks after he was elected and sworn in alongside other sixteen council chairmen.
This was announced in a statement from the Office of the Secretary to the State Government, Baba Mallam-Wali.
The suspension which takes immediate effect directed him to hand over the affairs of the local government to the vice chairman pending further directives.
