The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mojisola Meranda, has officially moved into the Speaker’s office at the Lagos State House of Assembly Complex.
The new Speaker was accompanied into her new office by members of the State assembly.
A prayer session was held on her behalf, as well as other members of the House for smooth leadership of the assembly and collaboration among the Honourable members of the House.
Mojisola Meranda emerged as the new Speaker of the Assembly following the impeachment of Mudashiru Obasa over gross misconduct and abuse of office.
Meanwhile ,the embattled speaker, Mudasiru Obasa who broke his silence during the weekend denied the allegation of mismanagement of funds and challenged lawmakers to prove the allegations they made against him.
Today’s plenary was however adjourned to a later date by the leadership of the house Rt Hon speaker Mojisola Meranda.
