A man identified as Abobby has been accused of killing a woman in Enugu State.
A video circulating online shows the moment residents confronted the suspect after a woman’s body was found on the floor of his bathroom.
In another video, the man was questioned over the incident. He claimed the woman had threatened to infect him with HIV and alleged that she hit him with a stick while he was asleep, saying he believed she wanted to kill him.
When asked why he killed her, he claimed she died of HIV and not from his actions, a claim that angered those questioning him.
Police are yet to officially confirm the incident as of press time.
