Oyo State Governor,Seyi Makinde has inaugurated the board of the state Independent Electoral Commission.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony in Ibadan on Thursday,the Governor tasked them on the need to conduct an inclusive and credible local government election.
The eight member board has Mr. Isiaka Olagunju has the chairman.
Others members of the board are; Comrade Adeniyi Afeez Babatunde, Alhaja Ganiyat Saka, Mr Emmanuel Olanrewaju, Chief Kunmi Agboola, Mr Aderemi Ayoade, Mr Sunday Falana and Mr Adeojo Elias.
The board is expected to ensure the conduct of the local government Election in the shortest time possible.
