Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has commended the effort of the Nigeria Army in the fight against insurgency and Banditry especially in the North East of Nigeria.
The Governor gave the commendation while receiving the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General, Tukur Yusuf Buratai, on a courtesy visit at the Government House, Agodi, Ibadan.
The Governor assured that the state government will continue to support the Nigeria Army in the state.
Makinde noted that the state government is also collaborating with other security agencies in the state towards having a secured environment for the economic development of Oyo State.
