After 10 weeks of 71 days of undiluted entertainment and fun in the Big Brother Naija Lockdown House, the season 5 has come to an interesting end with 26years old Olamilekan Agbeleshe known as Laycon emerging as the winner.

What started off as a stiff competition between 20 housemates came to an end on Sunday with an initial five housemates Dorathy, Vee, Neo, Nnegi and Laycon getting evicted one after the other and Laycon finally going home with the all inclusive grand prize of N85 million (30 million cash prize, an Innoson Motors Jeep and a two-bedroom flat by Revolution Now Properties).

Olamilekan “Laycon” Agbeleshe is a singer and rapper who hails from Lagos State and a graduate of philosophy from the University of Lagos .

Speaking with Ebuka shortly before his announcement,Laycon said the lessons he learned from his relationship with Erica in the house has helped him grow up.

He said “I only came to Big Brother to promote my album, my EP.“I came here and I was just myself.

“I learnt lessons and I grew from it, I have never been in that situation so I now know what to do next time,” Laycon said.

Releasing how Nigerians voted,Laycon got 60% of the votes to emerge the winner of the 2020 edition of the reality show. Below is how Nigerians voted:

Laycon- 60 %, Dorathy – 21.85%, Nengi -15.03%, Neo- 1.94% and Vee- 1.18%
