The Senate President , Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan on Sunday along side his colleagues and other dignitaries commissioned the Imo State Banquet Hall, Government House Owerri.

The Commissioning was part of the activities marking the one year in office of Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma.

While commissioning the banquet hall, the Senate President was thrilled over the edifice on ground and commended Gov. Hope Uzodimma as a man who has taste for quality and durable things which has distinguished him from others.

He used the occasion to describe his administration as a result oriented Government, that is aimed at working for the people and restoring hope and confidence in the government.

He added that in his few hours in the state, he has seen the quality roads constructed by the Governor and how the people so much love him.

He further added that all these wouldn’t have been possible if Gov. Hope Uzodimma is a selfish leader and a Governor who doesn’t care for the people.

“The roads i have seen in imo state today is not one done in a hurry but roads constructed with the best materials that will last long and moreover imo people have shown me how much they love Gov. Hope Uzodimma”. Sen. Lawan stated.

Sen. Lawan enjoined Imolites to continue to support and encourage Gov. Hope Uzodimma where necessary as governance is not a one man show but collectively the state will be transformed for good and Imolites will benefit from it as well pride with her state government.
