The President of the Senate,Ahmed Lawan has commiserated with the Nigerian Air Force over fatal crash of the military plane near the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Sunday.
” It is with great shock and sadness that I received the tragic news of the crash of a Nigerian military aircraft in Abuja on Sunday.
” I heartily condole with the families of those killed in the accident and pray that Allah would comfort them in this time of grief.

” I also wish to commiserate with the Nigerian Air Force over the sad incident and I call on the authorities to reinforce their safety measures against future occurrence.”
