LASEPA said it also shut some hotels and Temidire Mosque.

According to LASEPA on its X handle, it carried out a comprehensive enforcement operation in key areas of Lagos State, including Agege, Ifako Ijaiye, Abule Egba, Fagba, Ketu, and Magodo.

The agency said the operation targeted establishments that had failed to comply with environmental regulations despite prior warnings.

“The affected establishments, which include hotels, churches, mosque, lounge, piggery farm, and a recycling firm, have been temporarily shut down to ensure adherence to environmental standards.

The establishments include RCCG, Solochus Palace, Jasmine Hotel, Shammany Hotel and Budel Farm.

“Others are Divine Everglowing Ministry, Eagle’s Palace Resorts, 99 Play Ground Lounge, Faith Prophetic Deliverance Ministry, Royal Arc Hotel, Adequate Packaging Limited, 02 Lounge, Temidire Mosque, and Christ Chosen Church of God,” it said.

LASEPA stressed the importance of businesses complying with environmental regulations, reiterating its commitment to creating a sustainable and harmonious environment for Lagos residents.

The agency said it had issued repeated warnings to businesses across the State and remained resolute in its commitment to enforcing environmental laws, ensuring compliance, and achieving a clean and sustainable environment befitting Lagos State’s status as the nation’s Center of Excellence
