Tokunbo Wahab, the state Commissioner of the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, posted this on his X handle on Friday.

Affected establishments include the Catholic Church, 1602 Hotel, Seventh Heaven Bar & Lounge, Lourita Hotel & Suites, God’s Porch Ministries, Wonderful Bible Prayer Ministries, White Pavilion Hotel, Quest Hotel & Suites, Excel Hotel & Suite and HoneyComb Confectionery Ltd.

The statement said the establishments were temporarily closed to “compel compliance with environmental regulations.
